How to Open Account

  • Gather all required documents for your select account as per mention in banking services section on the website.
  • Select your nearest branch from our contact us or branch network section on the website.
  • Fill up the form neatly, and attach with necessary documents & submit it to the nearest branch of the society with money.
  • After verification, you will be given an account number. You will also be given a book of cheque if you decide to use cheque facility.
  • An advantage of opening a bank account in person is that you can ask the teller all of your questions and get immediate answers. Because you can sign all the papers on the spot, the process of opening an account is also speedier in person.

A) Identity Proof (any one of the following):

i) Passport v) Identity card issued by the employer (subject to Bank’s satisfaction)
ii) PAN Card vi) Photo Credit Card
iii) Voters Identity Card vii) Letter from a Gazetted officer verifying the identity and attesting photograph and address.
iv) Driving License

B) Proof of current address (any one of the following):

i) Telephone bill v) Bank account statement
ii) Electricity bill vi) Letter from employer (subject to Bank’s Satisfaction)
iii) Gas connection receipt vii) Any document which provides current address information (subject to Bank’s satisfaction)
iv) Ration Card

C) Recent Photograph (passport size)

  • A/c no: is either Computer generated or manually given.
  • Computerised passbook

Documents required (Partnership)

  • Photographs of all the partners
  • Address proof of all the partners
  • Identity Proof–(Pan Card, Passport, Senior Citizen Card)
  • Introduction is must (usually from a current a/c holder)
  • Partnership deed – duly registered
  • Stamp of the firm
  • Completion of form
  • Initial deposit in cash
  • Completion of slip book

Documents required (Trust,Clubs Association)

  • A/c opening form
  • Photos of the office bearers
  • Identity Proof of office bearers (Pan Card, Passport, Senior Citizen Card)
  • Address proof of all the office bearers
  • Stamp of the Clubs / Associations
  • Original certificate of registration
  • Certificate true copy of memorandum of association
  • Certificate true copy of the rules, regulations, bye-laws
  • Resolution of managing committee certified true by the chairman/secretary authorized
  • The type of a/c to be opened should be specified in the resolution
  • Resolution should be in terms of rules, regulations, bye-laws of the body and not contrary to them

The following questions MUST be answered before you give your money away.

  • Is there a monthly fee for maintaining this account? If so, what is it?
  • Is there a minimum balance that I must keep within this account? If so, what is it? And what sorts of fees apply if I go under that limit?
  • What is the interest rate?
  • Is the account for which I’m applying insured?
  • Is there a limit to the amount of transactions (deposits/withdrawals, check writing, other additional facilities uses) I have per month? If so, how many do I get of each? What sorts of fees apply if I go over my limit?
  • Where can I withdraw or deposit  cash without paying any fees?  etc
